RBCPL24: England star, Jordan, joins TKR; GAW sign Sowter
England's World Cup winner Chris Jordan has joined Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) for the upcoming season of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
The 33-year-old all-rounder, who was part of England's victorious team at the 2019 Cricket World Cup, will join TKR for the first time.
Jordan is a highly experienced T20 player, having played in leagues around the world, including the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Big Bash League (BBL), and the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
He is a right-arm fast-medium bowler and a hard-hitting batsman, making him a valuable asset to any T20 team.
TKR are the defending champions of the CPL, having won the title in 2021.
They will be hoping to retain their title with the addition of Jordan to their squad.
Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW) have also made a significant signing, with the acquisition of Australian all-rounder Cameron Sowter.
Sowter is a left-arm fast-medium bowler and a right-handed batsman.
He has played for Australia A and has also represented his country at the Under-19 level.
Sowter is a promising young player who could make a big impact in the CPL.
GAW will be hoping that Sowter can help them to challenge for the CPL title in 2023.
