A massive 8.5 magnitude earthquake has struck off the coast of Tokyo, Japan, triggering a tsunami warning for the entire Pacific region. The quake, which occurred at approximately 9:15 AM local time (12:15 AM UTC), has caused widespread damage and casualties.
