Bayern Munich vs Man City: Haaland atones for penalty miss, fires City into semis
Man City made it through to the semi-finals of the Champions League after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.
Erling Haaland scored the only goal of the game in the 90th minute, atoning for his earlier penalty miss.
The match was a tight affair throughout, with both teams having chances to win it. Bayern Munich had the better of the first half, but City improved after the break and were the more dangerous side in the second period.
Haaland had a great chance to put City ahead in the first half, but he missed a penalty. However, he made amends for his miss in the dying minutes of the game, scoring a brilliant goal to give City the victory.
The win means that City have now reached the semi-finals of the Champions League for the second time in three seasons. They will face either Real Madrid or Chelsea in the last four.
