Game of inches: Browns survive Texans scare in Wild Card Weekend thriller

Browns punch ticket to Divisional Round, while Texans' season comes to an end

In a game that came down to the final seconds, the Cleveland Browns managed to hold on to a narrow 27-14 victory over the Houston Texans in the Wild Card Round of the NFL playoffs on Saturday night. The Browns, who started the season 2-6, have now won four of their last five games and will advance to the Divisional Round next week.

The Texans, who finished the season 4-13, were led by quarterback Davis Mills, who threw for 264 yards and a touchdown. However, Mills was also intercepted twice, including once in the end zone late in the fourth quarter. The Browns' defense also forced three turnovers, including a fumble recovery by linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah that set up their first touchdown of the game.

The Browns' offense was led by running back Nick Chubb, who rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown. Quarterback Deshaun Watson also threw for 166 yards and a touchdown.
